I assume that my Rules Adjudication Guide did not make it into the hands I intended it to. I see that I never finished the Graphic Design document either.
The title and type line fonts on the new Subordinate cards are too large and too low within the text field. The copyright line is also off. They also need numbering even if they're not part of the deck. The numbering is for cataloging and for LackeyCCG operation.
The copyright line on the cards should now read: "© 2015 THE WALT DISNEY CO. & ® OR TM. GAME DESIGN: WIZARDS". That is Disney's universal copyright on all properties and subsidiary properties they own. Use centered text so as to keep it from going too far one way or the other.
Also, more importantly, the order of abilities on the cards have been showing up haphazardly since I left. Following is the order that the abilities should show on the cards, as defined primarily by the order established by WOTC (IDC additions in red with suggestions for newer abilities since I left):
* IDENTITY
Switch (Build step)
"Treat as..." (In hand)
AFFECTING THE CARDS
(In order of turn structure)
To Finish Deploying/When you deploy (Deploying)
Mediate
Extra Pilot (Automatic when in arena)
Untap
ALTERNATE COSTS (In order of turn structure)
Upkeep
Hidden Cost
Equip
text affecting Build or Force cost (See Normal Text, below)
AFFECTING THE STACK
INSERT
Stack
Text affecting the stack. (This is a suggested modification to accommodate the stacking effects.)
ATTACK ORDER
Can't attack/can't be attacked
attacks first (See Normal Text, below)
speed bonus (See Normal Text, below)
ATTACK TRIGGER
affecting the attack (See Normal Text, below)
Switch, affecting piloting, and order of granted effects: + X power (See Normal Text, below)
Accuracy
Bounty
Critical Hit
Foresight
Fury
DEFENSE
Armor
Lucky
Parry
Shields (Analysis of Shields shows a switch in use in PM. It was not previously included in this list, but came after Overkill in earlier sets.)
Stealth
Stun
NORMAL TEXT (In order of triggered, static then activated)
order of play (sides, phases, steps, arenas and triggered, then static, then activated effects)
hierarchy abilities as reflected by this list
speed bonus (Group with power and health bonuses in the order they appear on the cards.)
power bonus
health bonus
OPTIONAL ATTACK
Bombard
Double Strike
Ion Cannon
Overkill
PLAYER-ACTIVATED RESPONSE
Deflect
Evade
Intercept
Retaliate
Untap
UNPREVENTABLE DAMAGE
UTILITY
Elude
Can't Intercept
Can’t Retreat
Equipment bonus/penalty
Reserves
Pilot granting Extra Pilot
Pilot
This hierarchy applies even within a single ability’s text. Feel free to test this hierarchy against the WOTC cards. During WOTC’s time, only Shields was repositioned in the hierarchy with one exception: sometimes you need to choose to override the hierarchy in order to have certain effects make sense, such as effects that work together in a specific order. (Such as the Enhance keyword.)
This list is quite difficult to maintain in practice, but it provides a sense to the order that makes play easier and effects easier to locate.
I'm not sure at present how much of Smugglers and Jedi follows this order, but I'm certain the sets that came afterward do not follow it at all.
