Ket asked this morning for an update so I figured I'd do my best to explain what is going on. After the database got corrupted I was rebuilding what I could when it happened again. I have no clue why. Unfortunately this has happened at a really really shitty time too. I'm swamped at work, and have some pretty big family issues going on. It is like the perfect storm of crap to give me no free time to really dig into it. Since the initial crash both the polls and topics tables have crashed. I'm pissed at my web host right now because I think this database issue is their fault but I'm also broke from the honeymoon so I can't afford to just switch to a new host just yet. I want to bring it back online but I don't want to do it and just have it crash again. In the mean time I guess this will have to do although I'm open to suggestions

This is MarthWMaster from the FFG forums (and pretty much everywhere else I exist). All the talk about the upcoming cooperative game has brought up a well of nostalgia urging me back into WOTC's game.
Because, as much as I like the idea of teaming up with a bud and challenging the Empire, there must always be a "versus" type Star Wars game, and of the two I've played, for all its flaws, this is the one I prefer. :)

What do you mean by "upcoming cooperative game"?

He is probably talking about the new card game that fantasy flight is putting out. From what they have up on their site it sounds horrible.

I would have to play it to be sure. As far as I can tell, it seems to me to more accurately depict group assaults at will rather than turn by turn and includes actual missions, like espionage and the like. I would have to actually play it to judge whether it's good or not. At the same time, this model of card game has not traditionally proven very popular in the longrun, because people tend to like the straight turn-by-turn structure to their games.
